This bunk is a great feature for kids! This bunk measures 58" x 24". It has the raised up side to prevent falling out. An A/C unit can still be installed with this option. Side windows can not be installed with this option though also you must have a solid back wall ( no Back Cargo or XL Galley Door)  It works dualy as a bunk or shelf.
